Remembering Jorge - FISH Team Member Extraordinaire!
At any given time, FISH Volunteer Jorge Perez could be found picking up donations across the West Valley and beyond, conducting outreach at homeless encampments, or spending long nights breaking down cardboard boxes long after everyone had gone home.
First in line to do whatever it took to keep FISH going strong, if he were still with us today, we’re certain he would again be the first to rally people to join TEAM JORGE to raise funds to keep the food pantry running for those in need.
Now FISH Needs Your Help
FISH Food Pantry relies on dedicated volunteers and donated food from LA Regional Food Bank and local stores to serve more than 5,000 people each month. But it takes more than food to keep the FISH engine running. It takes money.
When you team up to fundraise for FISH, you become a crucial player in powering our pantry and making a difference in the lives of families and individuals facing food insecurity in the community.
Your fundraiser will help run the fridges and freezers that store the food we distribute to those in need, fuel our van for donation pickups and deliveries to homebound senior and disabled neighbors, and simply keep the lights on.
